ISO-Friendly Quality Control Policy

Purpose

This policy defines the quality and traceability standards under which TraceMark TN operates. Although we are not ISO 9001 certified, our processes are intentionally structured to align with ISO 9001:2015 principles so that customers may integrate our work into their certified quality systems without disruption.

Scope

This policy applies to all contract laser marking, engraving, and traceability services performed by TraceMark TN, including CO₂ and Fiber laser operations, sample development, and batch production.

Quality Objectives

• Deliver permanent, legible, and durable markings that meet or exceed customer specifications.
• Maintain full traceability of every job from inquiry through delivery.
• Ensure all processes are controlled, repeatable, and verifiable.
• Provide responsive corrective action in the event of nonconformances.
• Foster continuous improvement across equipment, process, and personnel.

Process Control & Traceability

1. Every production run includes a job traveler with part details, laser parameters, and operator initials.
2. Parameter libraries are version-controlled and securely stored.
3. Lasers and fixtures are checked periodically for focus and contrast verification.
4. Readability and contrast are checked visually or with scan-verification tools.
5. Records are retained for a minimum of five years with redundant backups.

Training & Competence

Operators are trained and qualified for each laser platform. Training records and a skills matrix are maintained and reviewed annually.

Nonconformance & Corrective Action

Nonconforming work is documented, segregated, and reviewed by management. Root causes are identified, corrective actions are implemented, and records are maintained.

Customer Communication & Confidentiality

All customer drawings and parameter data are treated as confidential. NDAs are available upon request, and access to customer files is restricted.

Continuous Improvement

TraceMark TN reviews customer feedback, performance metrics, and nonconformance logs at least twice annually.
